Beginning as a boy, Brian takes the audience with him each step of the way as he as he grows up, finds love and starts a family, only to have a harrowing tragedy take it all away from him

We first encounter Brian, a carefree Irish child playing by a stream being beckoned in to the house by his mother

Quickly, an audience becomes engulfed in his world, following him through his school years, his dating attempts and even become guests at his wedding!

Along the way we meet the various people that shape his life, fill him with happiness and ultimately crush his dreams

Through a series of snapshots taken in time, this play, with shades of bright humour and dark sadness, depicts the fragility of our ties to loved ones

The role of Brian, along with the diversity of characters he meets as he grows, provides both actors with the plateux to display an array of acting talents in a unique but tremendously rewarding challenge
