An Irish farming family becomes tired of the adversities of everyday farming life

After discussing and dismissing various alternatives, the teenage daughter - an internet addict - comes up with the idea of buying a giraffe!

As father and son seem hard to convince, she simply orders one over the internet

The local community is baffled but curious, and invade their living room one after another

But the giraffe creates its own problems - it is very shy and does not fit into most confines of human society

One-act
