Deep in the Ozark Mountains, a local band called "The Hempen Homespun Boys" decides to audition for a wedding gig for the boss of the Athens Coal Company, Mr. Theseus Duke, with their own hillbilly adaptation of Mr. Billy-Bob Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream"
