Synopsis
The Star and the Animals
Published by Musicline
Having tidied the place up, the children paint pictures of their favourite animals to complete the Christmas card scenery for the evening's show
After they leave the barn, a group of animals appear and recognise themselves in the children's paintings
They are not impressed!
The kindly Professor (a sheepdog) feels that they should watch the play that the children are to perform and see what it is all about
Some of the animals are not in agreement with this, especially when they hear that the children will be dancing and singing as well but then the Star appears and tells them that this is a true story with a very important meaning
And so the animals watch the nativity, assisted by the Star's narrative and realise the importance of the Christmas Story
The play contains 27 parts plus a choir and ten beautiful songs
