The Great Plan of Happiness

Mindy Curtis

Published by Cyberpress

2 Male 6 Female

The Great Plan of Happiness follows Cassie Warren, a young LDS woman who has spent years living and working in Chicago, on her visit home to Draper, Utah

Cassie’s visit is prompted by the ten-year anniversary of her father’s death and also falls in the immediate wake of the Supreme Court's decision that the Fourteenth Amendment requires all states to grant and recognize same-sex marriages

As she returns to Utah and revisits her Mormon roots, Cassie and her family wrestle with how the strongly-held beliefs and practices of the LDS faith affect both the way they live their lives and how they view their family
