Published by Dramatists Play Service
0 Male 3 Female
Whether undergoing botox injections or living beneath burqas, women of all cultures and backgrounds feel compelled to change the way they look in order to fit in
The Good Body merges cross-cultural explorations with Eve's own personal journey coming to terms with her "less-than-flat, post-forties stomach"
It's available to be performed as a V-Day event
V-Day is a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls - a catalyst that promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money, and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations
Every February through April, V-Day activists around the world have produced The Vagina Monologues and other art events in their communities to raise awareness and millions of dollars for local organizations working to end violence against women and girls
By performing this play as part of the V-Day movement, you have the opportunity to produce a powerful theatrical production while also effecting change in your community.
