Synopsis

The Dressing Room

Peggy Hallett

Published by Cyberpress

0 Male 8 Female

Based on the real antics of backstage life during the production of a community theatre musical, this is a new original and relatable comedy that's not a musical at all!

Through the span of five years, the cast of multi-generational characters make their way through five iconic musicals - Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Les Miserables, Peter Pan and Beauty and the Beast - playing an assortment of supporting chorus members, divas, and eventually production members, all while balancing the drama of real life

From the newbie with stage fright, to the back stage pranks the ladies try to hide, to the understudy who has to go on, and to the broken prop that needs to be fixed to return to the stage sometimes there's more going on backstage than on stage!
