Until war broke out Rosie and Ben Parkes had hardly seen the country, but everything changes when they are evacuated from the city to escape the bombs

Their new home is strange at first, but at least there is Terry, another evacuee, to show them around. But is Terry causing more problems than he solves? And as the Parks children are drawn further into Terry's world, they find themselves fighting a dangerous war of their own
