Suburb of Babylon

Suburb of Babylon $12.99

Hugh Leonard

Published by Samuel French Ltd

Suburb of Babylon is three interlinked plays - in A Time of Wolves and Tigers, alcoholic Jumbo must come to terms with his empty house and empty life after his wife leaves him because he won't change his ways

In Nothing Personal, surburbanite Phil is taken by a woman he has just met in a pub to her friend's house

Initially the atmosphere is jovial as they await a fourth member of the party, but Phil soon realises that the situation has turned sinister and he has been kidnapped

In The Last of the Last of the Mohicans, the mood changes to one of hilarious comedy as Dominick, having packed his wife off on a retreat, is looking forward to an adulterous affair with sexy Grace

Unfortunately for him things don't go to plan and Grace arrives, followed closely by Dominick's wife and then Grace's husband!
