This is a ghost’s perspective of ghost hunting

Abigail, the Victorian ghost, after a life of quiet obedience and refinement, has finally found her mischievous, humorous, dramatic side and she loves it!

Now to save the family home, which is now a financially failing museum, with the help of Mrs. Phelps, the curator, who has asked her to stomach the annoying ghost hunters

Let her presence be known, hoping to increase the publicity and increased revenues their television show has generated

Abigail, who was so lonely and bored, now has a sense of purpose and outlet for her fun-loving personality

Plenty of howls of pain from running into things in the dark can be heard with crashes of broken objects

Male or female could play any of the ghost hunters

More could be present as tourists at the end

This play would be ideal for older children and also a Halloween subject
