They're back!
And it's the perfect fun romp to kickstart your society after Lockdown
This is the fifth of the hugely popular Little Grimley series, which follows the antics of a hapless Amateur Dramatic Society desperate for audiences
In Lockdown, Chairman Gordon calls an emergency meeting, complete with social distancing, to discuss his idea for their next production when restrictions ease
He proposes a touching love story set in a hospital, with all profits to go to their local hospital
But based on their previous efforts, will the hospital actually end up worse off?
Running at around 40-45 minutes, you can either stage Lockdown with another one-act play, or on its own as part of a celebratory welcome back party for your guests
Lockdown is extremely easy to stage
It requires no set, no complex lighting, just a few chairs and some very simple props
So it's ideal to stage at relatively short notice
What you will need are four talented actors (two male, two female)
And a director with a keen sense of fun and a love of fast-moving visual and verbal comedy
Due to its success, Last Tango in Little Grimley has spawned four sequels:
The Fat Lady Sings in Little Grimley
