Breaker's Yard

The slums of Victorian London provide an easy opening for the enigmatic Jack Breaker to purvey his "Rainbow Dreams" - and to ensnare many others beside those already trapped by poverty. A powerful, energetic and thought-provoking piece of Music-Theatre, offering challenge to director and cast as well as to the audience.

Cast : Approximately 50 (many variable m/f and some doubling possible). Suggested Age Range: 10 to 18 - best with a spread. Running Time : 120 minutes + interval. Music : Keyboards plus small orchestra. Set : Open stage surrounded by staircases and gallery to provide various exterior and interior views of all aspects of 19th century London.
