Ten year old Annie is desperately unhappy at home, where she lives with her mother and a cruel aunt

To cope with her life, Annie writes a story an adventure quest with a happy ending

As she tells the story to the children at the Library Story Hour it as acted out by the rest of the cast

A broad comedy but rich in meaning, the play has been especially written to provide many small parts for lots and lots of primary school age children

There are also three substantial parts for two girls and a boy
