Ahead of the Game

Published by Cyberpress

Large Mixed Cast
Ahead of the Game is a contemporary, relevant, humorous and touching story very loosely based on that of Pollyanna, the girl who sought to find the good in everything

Following a devastating storm young Bethany is shipped off from her New Orleans home to live with her rigid and inflexible aunt in her northeastern mansion

Having been raised by ethnically diverse, open minded parents, for the first time Bethany is confronted with culture shock, bullying, negativity, a feeling of isolation and an inability to fit in

But inspired by her heroine Pollyanna, she uses humor and optimism to challenge the grim status quo, resulting in her aunt and the rest of the community finding themselves "ahead of the game."

Bethany's kindness, sensitivity, and respectfulness finally pays off, resulting in her aunt and the rest of the community finding themselves "ahead of the game"

A play for all ages and all stages, Ahead of the Game aims to challenge bullies and inspire kindness
